The most highly anticipated fishery is the summer salmon season on the upper Columbia River which has one the largest Salmon runs in the lower 48 states. The hard fighting Chinook and the aggressive and extremely active Sockeye Salmon create an exciting day that you won’t soon forget. Your Columbia River fishing trip lasts 8-10 hours and will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
We start the season at Wanapum Damn on July 1 for summer Chinook Salmon until the counts come in for Sockeye Salmon and Fish and Wildlife establish the season, usually mid July, then we will fish sockeye starting at Wanapum Dam and working our way to Priest Rapids Dam until the end of the month. We spend the beginning of August fishing Sockeye & Chinook from Wells Dam To Chief Joseph Dam in Brewster / Pateros. We then head back to Wanapum Dam providing outstanding guided fishing tours on the Columbia River until the middle of September when we wrap up the fishing season from Hanford Reach to Vernita Bridge.
We run the best equipment to get the job done.
We are fishing on a 23ft Alumaweld Super V that is all open which allows us to play multiply fish at once. We also have a BBQ on board that allows us to whip up some breakfast burritos and we are also able to warm up hot dogs and already cooked chicken in the afternoon.
Our main fishing poles are custom tied By Rods Customs Rods, which are designed to put the torque of the fish back on the pole and not on you…
